STORMWATER AND WASTEWATER DESIGN PROJECTS OF MIQTADIYAH

Preparing the wastewater and stormwater collection and removal projects of Miktadiye Province which is in Diyala.

Within the scope of work; the wastewater and stormwater collection basins of Miktadiye were prepared separately. Then receiving environment controls were performed. Wastewater will be discharged to the existing treatment plant and rainwater will be discharged to the creek or irrigation channel in the shortest way. The whole planning area was divided into sub-basins and the studies were detailed and their relations with each other were checked. With these controls, it was seen that wastewater and stormwater system can work separately and without interfering with each other. A total area of 2700 ha was investigated; pumping stations, pressurized lines, collectors and network lines were designed.
