Then and now

The world of a hundred years ago is clearly different from today’s. The ever-accelerating pace of technology has diversified our needs, and the solutions along with them. A built environment that changes day by day has become the new normal. Meeting the needs of denser populations, designing high-tech structures, developing environmentally friendly components and interpreting project inputs and outputs correctly are now essential.

Carrying this difference between past and present into the future in a rational way, grounding it in real benefit, and in doing so both learning from the past and saying something new: this is how Tetratürk thinks.

Learning from the past, solving for the future

For Tetratürk, the past is a body of practice to be examined and learned from: we study what has been done before and add that knowledge to our own. The future is made up of foreseen and unforeseen problems. Every problem, local or global, small or large, matters, because its solution shapes the day after.
